Quest for change

"Change" is the only constant part of human life. A feeling of being stuck in life creeps in at times.A flash of sudden thoughts : what am i doing everyday, its the same routine, office, home, cooking, food and the same weekend for sleep, games, outing. The rate at which change happens to a person depends on how well he/she is able to accept changes.

If i talk about me, i can accept things but takes a lil time(definitely not more than few days). These is with respect to people around me, i mean relationships. All other changes are welcomed with an ease. The days when you feel the need to talk to someone who really can take you the way you are, someone who can be more than a friend to you, someone with whom you feel THE SECURE are the days when you have a desire for a change that can turn your life, your likes and dislikes. This QUEST for change made its way unannounced, bringing in the faith of bearing gifts and blessings.

Pissed Of!!! Anger!! But y??

y do u get pissed off and wat wil u do wen u get pissed off?????!!!!!!!!!!!

There would be many situations in life when we really get pissed off and don know what really has to be done.. Its sometime back i went through the same circumstance and i dont remember what i did. I still rememeber the words of my Prinicipal (during my school days). She always tells us "if you get angry just do a countdown from 1o to 1 before you react and you will be perfectly fine, out of anger and frustration". There are many times where i have failed to. Ofcourse i have implemented too. Keeping a control over anger is vital as many judge us only by the way we react at times.

Anger is a turbulent emotion, the boiling agitation of feelings. In short its a passion boiling within us. Theres a biblical saying "When angry, do not sin." In this verse, God is actually instructing us to be angry but about the right thing! Anger is an emotion created by God. He created us as emotional beings. The phrase “do not sin” is a check against going too far. The kind of anger that is justified because it is against sin and sinful things and fully under your control is a kind of anger that has God’s approval.

Why do we get pissed off and angry is a question that came to my mind now. Its not that easy to find an answer for this, its just a play of emotions at times. The best solution for not responding to such wild emotions is to have a good control over emotions. If you can listen to what’s going on and hold back long enough to think about what you are going to say, you can usually control your anger in healthy ways.

Heres a wonderful quote by Epictetus:
"If you would cure anger, do not feed it. Say to yourself: "I used to be angry every day; then every other day; now only every third or fourth day." When you reach thirty days, offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the gods."
